Rangarajan, Founder and Chancellor, Vel Tech Dr. RR & Dr. SR Technical University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Manjrasoft Pty Ltd., Melbourne , Australia , on 26 August 2009 , to set up a grid computing lab and frame syllabus and curriculum in accordance to it. This was followed by an International Seminar on ‘Cloud Computing: (The Next Revolution in Information Technology)’ by Prof. Dr. Rajkumar Buyya, University of Melbourne, Director, Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems Lab, Dept. of Computer Science & CEO, Manjrasoft Pty Ltd., Melbourne, Australia.
