Admission Procedure
1. The candidates should produce the following documents in original along with one set of photocopies while reporting for counselling. Candidates will not be allowed to participate in the counselling process without the documents listed below :-
 AIEEE Statement of Mark & Rank
Class X / XII Board Certificates as a proof of date of birth.
Marks Sheet of Qualifying Examination (+2 or equivalent).
Community Certificate (For all categories except General).
Nativity Certificate (for candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and the North Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura).
DEMAND DRAFT for the amount prescribed for the B.Tech for domestic candidates for different branches (inclusive of caution deposit of Rs.5000/-) drawn in favour of “Vel Tech Dr.RR & Dr.SR Technical University”, payable at Chennai.
2. Candidates without DD for the said amount will not be permitted to attend counselling.
3. It is only after the verification of documents, candidates will be allowed to participate in the counselling process. Authentic records pertaining to identification, age, mark sheet of qualifying examination, community, nativity (if applicable) and other eligibility criteria as specified, will be checked. If a candidate fails to produce any of these documents, he/she will be considered for provisional admission only..
4. Allotment of branch once made is final and cannot be changed under any circumstances.
Hence candidates must decide the branch before making the payment of fee.
5. All payments shall be strictly by Demand Drafts.
6. NO ONE IN THE UNIVERSITY IS AUTHORISED TO EITHER PAY OR RECEIVE CASH FOR ANY PURPOSE.
